“The earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena.”
Perspective is so easily gained and lost. It’s not difficult to understand that conceptually the scope of existence is almost immeasurably larger than our direct perception, but the idea seems to become lost in a sea of more self-applicable, albeit comparably insignificant information. For the most part, it’s certainly humbling, but not immediately useful. Artistic endeavors however, are not as grounded to our lives, and the realm of possibility isn’t tied to only the ideas relevant to us.
